Guenter A. Rieger, an Electrical Research Engineer, has changed his lifestyle, from the electronic lab to an egg producer, keynote speaker, writer, and former mayor of the Township of Spallumcheen from 1989 to 1996. His inspiration was to live a natural lifestyle in Canada, British Columbia. Guenter and his wife, own and operate Rieger Farms, which is known for high-quality eggs.
Guenter Rieger a former mayor, known as a common-sense politician, served his community the Township of Spallumcheen as mayor for two terms, from 1989 to 1996, during which time the Township of Spallumcheen celebrated it's Centennial in 1982.
